Lovely room view

The serene location near Rothbury offered breathtaking views of fields and the historic Tosson Tower. My Deluxe King Room was immaculate and comfortable, with a big bed and delightful tea and coffee making facilities. The delicious breakfast featured local ingredients and attentive service from Ann and her staff.

What a stunning place to kick back! The view over the Coquet valley from our room was just wow, felt like we were in a postcard. Brekkie was tops, all local goodies, perfectly cooked, and the staff were always so friendly! Felt at home, ja!

Only thing was the shared coffee setup on the landing. a bit awkward, you know?

We faced a lack of personal greeting upon arrival, which was slightly confusing. It would also have been better if the coffee facilities were in the room rather than shared on the landing. it created some awkwardness. the absence of background music during breakfast made the experience quite uncomfortable as conversations echoed in the quiet room.

The room offered a spectacular view of the surrounding fields and historic landmarks, creating a serene atmosphere that was perfect for relaxation. Breakfast featured fresh cream cakes that were simply delightful. the shared coffee maker on the landing felt awkward, as it required dressing to access. a welcoming greeting upon arrival would have enhanced the experience, and soft background music during breakfast would have made it more pleasant and less intimidating.

during my two-night stay, I loved being just a short walk from the breathtaking Cragside House and Gardens, where I enjoyed leisurely strolls through its expansive grounds and beautiful landscapes, and I also appreciated the proximity to the Coquetdale Art Gallery, which offered a charming glimpse into local artistry.

The location provided a tranquil escape, nestled among fields. Our room was bright, clean, and comfortable with a lovely view of the historic Tosson Tower. The big comfy bed and the nearby fridge with fresh milk for our tea were thoughtful touches. I enjoyed the beautiful garden view during breakfast, which enhanced our relaxing morning routine.

omg this place is so nice! the location is super quiet and beautiful, right near rothbury. our room was lovely and comfy, big bed, and a cool view of the historic tosson tower. ann, the host, is so sweet and breakfast was delicious with local goodies. we totally enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back!
